Firm History
The Upchurch Group, Inc. is a full service Architectural / Engineering firm which was founded in Mattoon, Illinois in 1968 by Mr. James Upchurch. The firm expanded operations in 1991 to include a permanently staffed office in Hillside, Illinois.
In 2002, a group of long term employees purchased the firm and changed the name from Upchurch and Associates to The Upchurch Group, Inc. The successful continuity of our practice is based on the commitment of service by our professional staff to our clients. The principals have developed from within the firm and share this common commitment of personalized service.
The Upchurch Group, Inc. offers a wide range of design and construction supervision services including Architectural, Civil, Transportation, Structural, Mechanical, Electrical, Surveying and Materials Testing.
